Dr. French was born in Austin Texas in 1954.  He and his wife, Barbara, are the proud parents of Jennifer, Brian and Christopher.  

Dr. French is a major in the USAF medical corps and a graduate of the Air Force Academy.  He received his M.D. and Orthopaedic Residency from the Tulane University School of Medicine.  He also completed an internship in General Surgery from Wilford-Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.  In addition to his Federal, Washington and Idaho medical licenses he holds certifications in Orthopaedic Surgery and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Among his awards, he has received special recognition from the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association and the Cervical Spine Research Society.

Dr. French in addition to running a busy practice continues to stay at the leading edge of his profession having attended over 41 courses and meetings. He has made 23 presentations and has 12 peer reviewed publications in such journals as Orthopaedics and Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.

His areas of special interest include shoulder instability and brachial plexus injuries, peripheral nerve compressions, knee ligament reconstruction, trauma surgery, adult reconstruction and arthroscopy.
